Menjangan Island
Menjangan Island, also known as Pulau Menjangan, is a small island (1.5 km by 500m) located on the Northwestern side of Bali. It is part of the West Bali Barat National Park. If you are an underwater enthusiast, Menjangan Island is a must. It is considered one of the best diving site in the world.
The Menjangan diving site is Bali’s first internationally-recognised dive location. The diving location is easily accessible by boat, only 20-30 minutes from Pemuteran bay. With great visibility, the diving site is suitable for all seasons.
Here you can see and experience a great variety of marine life, hard and soft corals, fishes, sponges and sea plant, also great for underwater photography. Clear water and mostly light current is perfect for beginners. More experienced divers have the possibility to dive deep along the walls and a great wooden wreck.
