The Villa Arun & Villa Anak Arun lie on the hill of Banjuwedang/ Banyuwedang, near Sumberkima at the Pemuteran area, with views over the bay, the sea, the surrounding hills and the big mountains on Java Island. Being the farthest away from the touristic and crowded South Bali, the area is relatively underdeveloped, if not unspoiled. The wild nature at the very tip of the island at the West is the Taman Nasional Bali Barat, also known as West Bali National Park.

An 85 m2 villa with large double height windows for a bright and airy villa, to book separately or for extra accommodation.
It has a spacious bedroom on the mezzanine, accommodating 2 adults, with an ensuite semi open-air bathroom. The double-height living/dining room and kitchen with large bright windows boast view over the garden valley. The fully air-conditioned villa has direct access to the mezzanine bedroom from the walking path and is accessible from the front terrace.
As guests of Villa Anak Arun you are advised to use the swimming pool of the Sumberkima Hill Retreat. You may use the swimming pool at the terrace of the larger Villa Arun, only when there is no occupation.

HOW TO GET THERE
There are several routes to the villas from Southern Bali (Airport/ Sanur/ Ubud).
Along the green rice fields of Pupuan, or over the mountain ridge via Bedugul along the twin mountain lakes Buyan & Tamblingan and the famous temple lake Beratan. Both scenic routes take about 3.5 hours over the winding roads across Bali, though the latter tends to be very busy during the weekends. It is also possible to take the busy route via Gilimanuk, or when you arrive from Java Island.

From diving to trekking, the neighbourhood of Villa Arun and Villa Anak Arun offers a lot to explore. See the amazing sea life, corals, rare birds or do a trekking or more adventurous trips in the nature.
The world famous diving site Menjangan Island is part of the Taman Nasional Bali Barat, also known as West Bali National Park. There are some of the oldest and most important temples and waterfalls to visit, and Java Island is only a stone’s throw away if you want to climb to see the Ijen sulphur crater. The coastline lining with beautiful bays with large areas of shallow reefs. At Pemuteran you can visit the Biorock project, the largest and most successful reef restoration project in the world.
Visit the temples and find yourself again with yoga.
